Breanna Stewart, arguably the best player of the 2023 WNBA free agent class, will take her talents to the Big Apple after signing with the New York Liberty.
The specifics of Stewart’s contract are still being worked out, sources told ESPN.
Before making her decision, Stewart had WNBA Twitter playing detective trying to decode cryptic tweets she posted during her free agency journey. The emoji-heavy posts had the basketball world on the edge of its seat until Stewart announced her move.
