Aja Sims-Fletcher was named the inaugural head coach of Talladega gymnastics, as announced on the Brown Girls Do Gymnastics Instagram. Sims-Fletcher is an alumna of Alabama, where she earned All-America honors on beam and floor, helped lead the Crimson Tide to back-to-back SEC titles and four Super Six appearances. She currently works at her alma mater as the coordinator of student-athlete enhancement and social responsibility.
Talladega gymnastics is set to commence for the 2024 season, per the announcement.
