The Brazil Football Federation (CBF) has signed a contract renewal with kit provider Nike that runs until 2038.

The new deal will ensure a 40-year collaboration between Brazil and Nike, with the U.S. manufacturer’s partnership with the national team dating back to 1996.

Brazil’s existing deal with Nike had been due to expire in 2026, and the new contract will come into force in January 2027.

As part of the new contract, the CBF will be entitled to royalties from the sale of Brazil national team shirts, and the governing body says this will “significantly impact the value of the contract”.

The new contract means Brazil will wear a Nike kit at the 2027 Women’s World Cup, a tournament the country is hosting for the first time.

Brazil and Real Madrid forward, and Nike athlete, Vinicius Jr said: “Nike has been an integral part of my journey as a football player, providing me with the best possible products to support my performance on the pitch. I am excited to see the positive impact this partnership will have on young Brazilian players and the sport as a whole.”
