Bills Mafia floods Tua Tagovailoa’s foundation with over 1,000 donations

Date:

The Buffalo Bills are 2-0 after defeating their AFC East-rival Miami Dolphins 31-10, improving the record of Josh Allen against Miami to 12-2 for his career.

However, a scary and worrisome injury has overshadowed the Bills’ win. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa scrambled for a first down in the red zone when he ran into Bills safety Damar Hamlin, his head making especially hard contact with Hamlin. He left the game with what would later be diagnosed as a concussion, which is his fourth concussion since 2022.

In the 2022 season, Tua exhibited concussion-like symptoms against the Bills, but played on a short week against the Cincinnati Bengals where he was slammed to the ground and immediately went into the fencing position, a clear indication of a bad concussion. Tua suffered a third concussion against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Eve and stayed in the game.

In light of the scary injury, the Tua Foundation has seen over 1,000 donations come in with a large number of donations coming from the Buffalo area. Bills fans are notorious for such class. After Andy Dalton and the Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens to help the Bills end their playoff drought, donations flooded into the Andy and Jordan Dalton foundation to the tune of $415,000.
