The Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament is back in Indianapolis after two years in Minnesota. It couldn’t come at a better time as the Hoosier state is ready to see the best of the best get crowned. And likely, it’ll be someone new.
Iowa is the three-time defending Big Ten Tournament champion, but the Hawkeyes aren’t predicted to make it a four-peat. Newcomers USC and UCLA are two of the best programs in the nation and are poised to take over the Big Ten in postseason play, too.
In total, 15 squads will compete in the single-elimination tournament from March 5-9. There’s no telling what will happen at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, but with plenty of parity throughout the conference, fans can expect the unexpected as teams get their final prep in for the playoffs.
