It’s conference tournament time again, and in the Big East, that once again raises the question of whether anyone can stop UConn.
Geno Auriemma’s Huskies haven’t left a conference tourney without a title since 2013 and are heavy favorites to cut down the nets at Mohegan Sun Arena again in 2025.
Second-seeded Creighton is the only other nationally ranked team in the field, but the Bluejays dropped both regular-season meetings to the Huskies. The two teams also entered last year’s tournament on top but didn’t face each other as Georgetown upset Creighton in the semis before getting plowed by UConn in the final.
