Best bets for 2023 WNBA All-Star Game: Team Wilson, Team Stewart set to face off in Las Vegas

The 2023 WNBA All-Star Game is scheduled to tip off on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC) from Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas. The team captains for the 19th WNBA All-Star Game are A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart, who were the top two vote-getters during the fan voting process. Wilson and Stewart are making their fifth WNBA All-Star Game appearances.

Team Wilson is looking for its second win in the All-Star Game, while Team Stewart will try to pull off the upset. Earlier this month, Wilson had the first overall pick in the daft and took Aces teammate Chelsea Gray. Meanwhile, Stewart’s first pick was Mercury center Brittney Griner, who is having an excellent season for Phoenix (19.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game). 

The starters for Team Wilson are Aliyah Boston (Fever), Arike Ogunbowale (Wings), Jackie Young (Aces), and Gray. As for Team Stewart, the starters are Jewell Loyd (Storm), Nneka Ogwumike (Sparks), Satou Sabally (Wings), and Griner. We don’t know if Loyd will play in Saturday’s All-Star Game, as she’s been dealing with an ankle injury.
