1. You have to pick one chore or obligation to do every day for a year. But if you make it doing this for the entire year, you never have to do it again for the rest of your life. So what would you like to pick?
My wife and I will trade off who makes dinner at night versus who gives baby the bath. So I would say giving baby a bath, but I don’t want to not have to do it again. I enjoy spending that time with my son. He loves bath time; it’s like going to an amusement park for him. He’s got all these water toys. He enjoys that and it makes me happy, too.
Bath time is actually a really great way to kill an hour or 30 minutes or however long they’ll tolerate it. You’re just like sitting there and they’re happy.
One hundred percent. I wish I knew that (earlier), because we weren’t big on baths initially — you know, nervous with our first child and getting around water and the nerves of trying to put them into the seat. But once I saw how much he enjoyed it, it’s relaxing for me because I don’t have to do anything….
