Tweed, 35, departs after being promoted to head coach from interim head coach in June 2023, following the firing of previous head coach Freya Coombe. “Despite the challenges and results of a tough season, Becki’s resilience and determination leave a lasting impression,” ACFC technical director Mark Wilson said in a club statement. “She departs ACFC well-respected, and we have no doubt wherever she lands next, her talents and character will make a significant impact. We thank Becki for her contributions over the past two seasons and wish her the very best in her journey ahead.”

ACFC then lost 1-0 to OL Reign, but Tweed’s early success laid the foundation for optimism going into her first full season as head coach….
