These women’s basketball players posted big-time performances, and were named to the NCAA.com starting five this week.

Baylor senior Sarah Andrews helped the Bears improve to 9-0 on the season, their best start since the 2015-16 season, with wins over Delaware State and No. 24 Miami (Fla.) last week. The guard averaged a team-best 15 points per game, shooting 40 percent (6-for-15) from 3-point range, while adding 10 assists and six steals.
In the 99-37 win over Delaware State on Dec. 14, Andrews matched a career-high with five steals and recorded her sixth double-digit performance of the season with 12 points.
In Baylor’s second top-25 win of the season on Saturday, Andrews led the way with 18 points against the Canes, going 4-for-7 from 3-point range as the Bears pulled away for the 75-57 win. She added a team-high six assists and grabbed three rebounds in the outing.
With the wins, Baylor moved up to No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Bears return to action this week when it travels to the West Palm Beach Classic in Florida. Baylor is set to take on Providence (Wednesday) and South Florida…
