VENICE, Fla. – With the playoff season just around the corner, Florida volleyball teams already looked in postseason form when they hit the court on Friday for the first day of the Battle at the Beach at Venice High School.
Sixteen schools, including one from North Carolina, combined for a whopping seven 3-setters in pool play. Countless other matches featured brutal battles with scoring in the 20s in both sets.
