Barbora Krejcikova beat Iga Swiatek in the final of the WTA 1000 in Dubai. The Polish tennis player had won thirty-six of forty-one games played in Doha and she had reached the final in Dubai with a second, frightening, overall run of 36-9.
The victory of the Czech tennis player therefore takes on a more important dimension, in the light of this.
