College hoops gets tropical in November as four women’s teams travel down to the Bahamas for the Baha Mars Hoops tournament.
UConn headlines this group as the Huskies are set to face off against Oregon State in the first round. Paige Bueckers has led a deep UConn squad to a perfect 4-0 start. She’s averaging 20 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.8 steals per game on 60.4 percent shooting from the field and 42.1 percent from distance.
Oregon State has struggled to start the year and will have a challenging matchup against UConn.
On the other side of the bracket, Ole Miss is set to face off against Boston College. The Rebels are 3-1 with their one blemish coming against USC to start the season.
Boston College is 5-1 and led by Dontavia Waggoner, who averaged 14.2 points and 2.8 steals in 22.8 minutes per game.
