Avram Glazer has attended Manchester United training in New Jersey and is expected at the pre-season friendly against Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium.
Erik ten Hag shook hands with Glazer and his wife, Jill, before he took a session at Pingry School in Basking Ridge, United’s training base for the first leg of their U.S. tour.
Glazer, who lives in Tampa Bay, Florida, watched Ten Hag’s session from the sidelines and met players and staff, although there were no sit-down meetings.
His show in New Jersey is his latest appearance around the club after his trips to Wembley Stadium for the Carabao and FA Cup finals, and women’s FA Cup final, adding an element of intrigue to the takeover saga.
It is eight months since the Glazer family launched a search for “strategic alternatives” yet there is little sign of a culmination to the process.
