Australian Open qualifying 2024: Dates, schedule, players, entry lists

Emma Raducanu and Dominic Thiem headline the entry lists for Australian Open qualifying in 2024.

Both players narrowly missed out on the main draw cut-off and will need to navigate through three rounds of qualification to earn their spot at Melbourne Park.

They join several other notable players returning to injury, along with plenty of young guns pushing for their maiden Grand Slam tournament berth.

When does Australian Open qualifying start? Dates, schedule for 2024

The 2024 qualifying tournament for the Australian Open will take place over four days.

It will begin on Monday, January 8 and wrap up on Thursday, January 11.

As usual, players will have to progress through three rounds of qualification to earn entry into the main draw.

Raducanu‘s protected ranking of 103 was five spots shy of automatic entry into the Australian Open women’s singles main draw, while Thiem missed out on the men’s draw by just one position with his No. 98 ranking.
