Partnering with Poland’s Jan Zielinski, the duo, who found each other on the looking list due to the absence of mixed doubles partners, triumphed in a thrilling match on Friday. The 38-year-old Hsieh clinched her maiden Grand Slam title in mixed doubles with a nail-biting 6-7(5) 6-4 (11-9) victory against the team of American Desirae Krawczyk and Britain’s Neal Skupski.
