ATP has already announced the provisional calendar for next season with the dates of the most important events in world tennis.
The biggest news concerns the ATP Masters 1000 and the ATP 500 tournaments. ATP president Andrea Gaudenzi’s plan to transform almost all the ATP Masters 1000 tournaments into two-week tournaments is increasingly closer to complete completion.
Even in Canada and Cincinnati, before the US Open, the extension will become reality in 2025. In this case, however, the dates have not been communicated because some details will need to be sorted out to protect the players.
ATP tennis schedule for 2025: there are a lot of changes
Dallas, Doha and Monaco have been promoted from ATP 250 to ATP 500, and this is the most important news for events in this category. There are five tournaments that may no longer find space in the 2025 calendar: Cordoba, Estoril, Lyon, Newport and Atlanta.
