ASICS to host free running clubs in London

ASICS are to begin offering free in-store fitness classes and running clubs in London. This comes after creating a dedicated workout space within their Oxford Street flagship store.

The brand will be hosting a variety of free workouts from the store, including two weekly run clubs around Hyde Park. The free exercise classes will be hosted by ASICS Front Runners Rey Smart and Ania Gabb.

Rey and Ania are both accomplished runners and trainers, and have been running numerous previous classes and events with ASICS in their role as Front Runners.

Personal trainer Rey will be leading the running clubs every Wednesday and Friday. He will also be leading core strength training classes every Tuesday and HIIT classes every Thursday.

Rey ran his first ever race in 2013. He then went on his ‘RunFit Tour’ in 2019. This saw him run 21 races across 6 countries, covering 310 miles and travelling 24,236. He has led the weekly Wembley ASICS Run Group for over 6 years.

Ania has been in the fitness industry for more than 20 years. She will be hosting Pilates and yoga for runners classes every Wednesday.
