Aryna Sabalenka admits she is “doing everything” to replace Iga Swiatek at the world No 1 spot and achieve her childhood dream. After accomplishing her dream of becoming a Grand Slam champion at this year’s Australian Open, Sabalenka also returned to a career-high ranking of No 2 in the world.
Now that Sabalenka is a Grand Slam champion, the Belarusian is hoping to also reach the world No 1 spot and achieve her two biggest goals in 2023. “I’m doing everything I can to get closer not like to her but to my dream.
