Aryna Sabalenka and Taylor Fritz have won this year’s Eisenhower Cup title after beating Iga Swiatek and Hubert Hurkacz in the final. On Tuesday, the Eisenhower Cup – a Tie Break Tens event – took place in Indian Wells as Sabalenka and Fritz won the title after beating Swiatek and Hurkacz 10-8.
Swiatek and Hurkacz got off to a better start to the final, taking an early 3-1 lead. Down by early two points, Sabalenka and Fritz responded by winning the next four points to overturn the deficit and take a 5-3 lead. Then, Swiatek and Hurkacz responded by winning the next three points to open a 6-5 lead.
Again, another run happened as Sabalenka and Fritz won three points in a row to take an 8-6 lead. Swiatek and Hurkacz then won the 15th point to cut the deficit to 8-7. Then, Fritz ripped a return into Swiatek’s body as he and Sabalenka opened a 9-7 lead and clinched two match points.
Swiatek and Hurkacz saved the first match point but Sabalenka and Fritz realized their second match point to seal the win.

In their first match – which was the quarterfinal – Fritz and Sabalenka defeated Swiss duo Belinda Bencic and Stan Wawrinka 10-4.
