Arsenal women celebrated their Champions League victory on Bank Holiday Monday with a parade at the Emirates Stadium, where one star caught the eye by leading an X-rated chant
Arsenal star Katie McCabe led X-rated chants about Tottenham as the Gunners celebrated their Women’s Champions League win. McCabe played all 90 minutes as Arsenal beat Barcelona on Saturday.
Stina Blackstenius late goal proved to be the difference in Lisbon. It means they are the first English women’s team to win the Champions League since they did it themselves 18 years ago.
The Gunners hosted a trophy parade at the Emirates Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday to kick off the celebrations back in London. The full squad were in attendance, along with thousands of jubilant fans.
McCabe stole the show at the event with the defender’s antics delighting the crowd. She first led the crowd in singing her very own song, ‘We’ve got McCabe’ to the tune of Billy Ray Cyrus’ ‘Achy Breaky Heart’.
The Ireland captain then began a serenading of the matchwinner Blackstenius after shushing the crowd. But her most eye-catching contribution came when she stole the mic from Beth Meade.
