Kim Mulkey nor Angel Reese never back away from a fight.
Now it seems an actual fight was one of the alleged stories left out of what many thought would be an explosive profile about Kim Mulkey, the LSU women’s basketball head coach from Kent Babb of the Washington Post.
Reported by several outlets this week including Awful Announcing, and originally reported by the Lafayette Daily Advertiser via a public records request, the most juicy alleged incident involved a locker room fight involving Angel Reese, now making headlines in the WNBA for her continued rivalry with Caitlin Clark.
After Mulkey alleged told players to turn off their phones, “Babb wrote, ‘This was after a fight involving Angel Reese, witnessed by one of my sources, that occurred in front of visiting recruits. One of these individuals present in the team meeting shared that Mulkey said: ‘This entire locker room is trash.’”
As a basketball fan that misses the Detroit “Bad Boys” Pistons WWE bad-dude antics, I love the feistiness of Angel Reese. And if this alleged incident is indeed true, who cares.
And for the record, the supposed heated rivalry between Chicago Sky star Reese and Indiana Fever phenomenon Clark is completely overblown. They support each other on their social media…
