Ahead of opening night of Unrivaled, the highly-anticipated 3-on-3 league co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, Angel Reese has revealed her custom sneakers for her inaugural debut with the league. Teaming up once again with collaborator Marvin Baroota, founder of SoLegit Customs, the shoe is a reimagined version of the Reebok Engine A that pays homage to team Rose Basketball Club.
Reese’s customized version of the Reebok Engine A, features a dark green design throughout the upper with miniature pink roses scattered throughout. Dark green laces complete the silhouette, providing a contrast to both the lighter green shade on the upper and the baby pink roses. A retro style with performance enhancing technology, the shoe is expected to be a prominent one throughout Spring 2025.
The WNBA star takes center stage with her team Friday night, as they are set to go up against her former head coach Teresa Weatherspoon, Arike Ogunbowale and the Vinyl Basketball Club. Their matchup follows the season opener tip-off, where co-founders Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart will face each other with their current teams, Owls Basketball Club and Mist Basketball Club.
