Angel Reese is basking in a great accomplishment: at only 22-years-old, the Chicago Sky forward has purchased her first home.
Reese announced the news on social media on April 15 after sharing a photo of herself holding a large key alongside the words, “Retired my momma” and “became a homeowner.”

“All at 22. So blessed,” she added, as well as, “Knocked off 2 BIG things off my vision board in the first 4 months of the new year!”
The accomplishment is a major one for Reese, who also paid off her mother’s mortgage three months ago. She shared the news with her mother on her birthday.
“You said that if your mortgage was paid off that you would retire or you won’t work,” Angel Reese told her mom. “You can pick if you want to work still, your mortgage today has been paid.” She added, “That was my biggest goal in life to retire you and pay your mortgage.”
Reese has been open about her WNBA salary, even if that’s meant she’s caught some flak. The young Chicago Sky forward signed a three-year rookie contract with the WNBA worth $324, 383 and earned $75,000 during her first season.
