Kansas City Current (10-2-0, 30 pts; vs Louisville, 4-2): Things for a little tense when a 3-0 lead turned into a 3-2 lead. But them Temwa Chawinga extended her latest goal-scoring streak to five and the Current were home free. One of the goals they conceded was from a set piece. Defending those is becoming a real issue in Kansas City and when the playoffs role around and games tighten up, that can become fatal. Speaking of the playoffs, the Current are on 30 points.
