The NWSL coaching carousel has one more vacancy. Angel City announced on Monday that the club has fired head coach Becki Tweed. The decision comes on the heels of parting ways with GM Angela Hucles last week. Angel City is now the third NWSL team with a coaching vacancy this offseason, joining the San Diego Wave and Houston Dash.

It shouldn’t be a huge surprise that both Hucles and Tweed have been let go. Disney CEO Bob Iger and his wife, Willow Bay, became controlling owners of Angel City over the summer. The new owners likely have their own vision for the club and would prefer to make their own hires for the coach and GM positions.
