Andy Murray is in awe of Iga Swiatek’s recent play as he declared the Pole simply different. Swiatek, ranked at No 1, won Doha last week with a total of five games dropped – that’s now a new record for the lowest number of games conceded en route to winning a title.
After dominating in Doha, Swiatek started her Dubai run with a dominant 6-1 6-1 win over former world No 13 Leylah Fernandez. Then, Swiatek dismantled world No 13 Liudmila Samsonova 6-1 6-0. “She is different (fire emoji),” Murray tweeted following Swiatek’s win over Samsonova.

Murray more confident in his body now
At the Australian Open, Murray started his run with back-to-back five-set wins over Matteo Berrettini and Thanasi Kokkinakis.
Last year, Murray struggled with his fitness and was often plagued by cramps. After saving three match points to beat Lorenzo Sonego in his Dona opener, Murray explained how having more belief in his body pushed him to a tight win over Sonego.
