It will be a party in Puerto Rico when Amanda Serrano returns home to defend her status as the unified featherweight champion against Nina Meinke on March 8.
The 35-year-old Serrano (46-2-1) fights in Puerto Rico for the first time since 2021 when she knocked out Daniela Romina Bermudez. “The Real Deal” is a seven-division world champion and leads the charge in women’s boxing by competing in another 12 three-minute round fight.
Meinke (18-3) turned pro in 2016. The German won the European featherweight title in 2019 against Helene Lascombe. She is currently on a six-fight win streak, beating Laura Ledezma in October via unanimous decision.
