Connecticut Sun forward Alyssa Thomas and Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne highlight the list of 12 players selected, and announced, as reserves for the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game. Here’s what you need to know:
- Thomas, the WNBA’s all-time triple-doubles leader, and Delle Donne, a two-time league MVP, are two of the six frontcourt reserves. They will be joined by Connecticut’s DeWanna Bonner, Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier, Seattle’s Ezi Magbegor and Atlanta’s Cheyenne Parker.
- The backcourt reserves include Chicago’s Kahleah Copper, Atlanta’s Allisha Gray, New York’s Sabrina Ionescu, Indiana’s Kelsey Mitchell, Las Vegas’ Kelsey Plum and New York’s Courtney Vandersloot.
- The 12 players announced on Saturday will join the 10 All-Star starters, who had been announced as game participants last Sunday.
- The game is set for July 15 at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas. Team captains Breanna Stewart and A’ja Wilson will draft their rosters on July 8 at 1 p.m. ET.
