The Atlanta Dream‘s Allisha Gray and 2024 WNBA draftee Cameron Brink are among 17 athletes expected to participate in the Team USA 3×3 women’s national team training camp Wednesday to Saturday.
The camp, held in Springfield, Massachusetts, will help prepare players for the 2024 Paris Olympics and other 3×3 events. No specific date has been given yet for announcing the selection of the U.S. women’s teams for 3×3 and 5-on-5 competition at the Olympics. The camp will be run by 2024 USA 3×3 national team head coach Jennifer Rizzotti and assistant coach Tammi Reiss.
Gray, the 2017 WNBA Rookie of the Year, teamed with fellow WNBA players Stefanie Dolson (currently with the Washington Mystics), Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young (both from the Las Vegas Aces) to win the 3×3 gold medal for the United States in the sport’s Olympic debut in Tokyo in 2021.
