Controversies related to doping cases in tennis constantly generate a lot of controversy.
We saw this with what recently happened to Simona Halep. The Romanian tennis player has received a lot of support and also a lot of criticism, especially from colleagues and former colleagues, such as Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki.
The French tennis player Alexandre Muller, defeated in Barcelona by Casper Ruud, wrote a decidedly polemical post on his social channels against the ATP, shortly after being beaten by the Norwegian player, relating to the issue of doping controls.
Muller published a very particular request (but which is above all a message about himself and the ATP) to the ATP on his page.
“Hi ATP Tour, I don’t know if you know me but I would like the doping checks every week to stop, I wouldn’t lose in the first or second round every week if I was doped, thank you very much,” he wrote.
This is a very particular request, posted on the afternoon of April 17th shortly after being defeated by Ruud.
hello @atptour , I don’t know if you know me but I would like the anti-doping controls every week to stop, I wouldn’t lose in the first or second round every week if I was doped thank you so much ☺️
