A few hours and it will finally be time to observe the best players in the world in the first  ATP Masters 1000 of the year, the BNP Paribas Open, played on the Californian hard-courts of Indian Wells.

There is a lot of anticipation for the return of Novak Djokovic, who did not participate in the 2023 edition and will therefore only be able to increase his points in the rankings. And of course, all await the come back of Rafael Nadal, who returns after a fatigue suffered after the defeat in Brisbane.

Anyway, all eyes will also be on the battle for second place in the ranking. Carlitos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner: which of them will be ATP No.2 at the end of the BNP Paribas Open 2024 edition?

It will presumably be the two of them who will battle for the sport of the ATP ranking at the ATP Master 1000 in Indian Wells. Alcaraz, reigning title holder, will have to defend his position from the attack of Jannik Sinner, who continues to enjoy a splendid moment in the ATP Tour and is the only unbeaten player so far this season, with 12 consecutive victories collected between the Australian Open and Rotterdam.
