The tennis world is buzzing with excitement as Agnieszka Radwanska, the former world No. 2 and 2012 Wimbledon finalist, makes her return to the WTA Tour—this time as a coach. Radwanska has joined Magda Linette’s team as a consultant and second coach, marking her first significant coaching role since retiring in 2018. The partnership, announced with great enthusiasm by Linette on social media, is set to last until Roland Garros, with the possibility of extending further based on their mutual decision.
Radwanska’s transition from player to coach has been gradual. In the 2023 United Cup, she served as a team captain for Poland, working alongside her husband, Dawid Celt. Reflecting on her role at the time, she noted, “Playing is one thing, but sitting on the bench is another thing. I don’t know what is more difficult to be honest, so I guess we’ll see there.” This experience appears to have fueled her interest in coaching, culminating in her current collaboration with Linette.

The initial assumptions for now: cooperation until the end of the clay court season and 8-10 weeks of direct working.
