With the college soccer regular season now complete, the best teams in the country battle for postseason glory.
Before the NCAA Tournament takes flight, the individual conferences must crown a champion. Each conference tournament winner will earn an automatic berth to the national competition, while the rest of the field must earn an at-large bid determined by the committee.
The best conference in the nation by a mile is the ACC, which annually boasts multiple top-ranked sides. This season, four of the nation’s top 10 and seven of the top 20 hail from the ACC alone, including the No. 1-ranked side Duke.
Duke, who won the ACC regular season title with an unbeaten league season, will look to defend that mark in the tournament, but have strong competition. The nation’s No. 3-ranked side Wake Forest, as well as the defending national champions Florida State, are amongst the top contenders, as well as Duke’s arch-rivals North Carolina.
