The average size of a woman in America is size 16 and 18 but for some reason, fashion sites, clothing stores, plus size influencers, and the plus size modeling industry still insist on selling us smooth stomachs, no belly, no back fat, thin calves, hourglass shapes, and round asses.
In the plus size community, everyone is certainly built differently. Only a small percentage is represented in print ads, clothing endorsements, and receiving popularity and having the opportunity to grow their brands authentically.

As people living with multiple identities, we must remember that most if not all of those identities carry some kind of privilege; fatness is no different.
