Trinity Armstrong (San Diego Wave)


With the departure of Naomi Girma, San Diego needs strength and steadiness in its backline. Trinity Armstrong provides just that. Her tenure with the Tar Heels, although short, displayed a massive impact. She started in all 21 appearances and played every minute of the NCAA tournament, which helped the Tar Heels win their 23rd national title.

Macey Hodge (Angel City)


Although listed as a midfielder, Hodge is a versatile player who can attack and defend. During her time with Mississippi State, she tallied the most appearances (97) and was named squad captain in her second season. She did experience hardship before making her way to the Bulldogs, but she didn’t waiver. Her story is inspiring, and her relentless determination will fit right in with the City of Angels.
