Justin Tucker is going to have some competition after the Ravens made the decision to use the 186th overall pick on Arizona kicker Tyler Loop, marking the first time in franchise history that the Ravens have drafted a kicker.
Tucker has been with the Ravens since 2012 and he’s been the best kicker in the NFL for most of that span but he’s been plagued by controversy over the past few months. Tucker is facing allegations of sexual misconduct after being accused by 16 massage therapists of acting inappropriately. The NFL is currently investigating the situation and the Ravens had said that they won’t be making a decision on Tucker’s future until the investigation is complete.
Not only is Tucker facing legal trouble but he’s also coming off the worst season of his career. The five-time All-Pro hit just 73.3% of his field goals in 2024, marking the first time in his career that he finished below 85%.
