The brackets have officially been unveiled, and the NCAA Women’s Tournament is just days away from getting underway.
South Carolina comes in as the top No. 1 seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament, followed by Caitlin Clark and No. 1 Iowa. Texas and USC were also awarded No. 1 seeds in this year’s installment of March Madness.
The action begins on Wednesday, March 20 with play-in games between No. 16 Presbyterian and No. 16 Sacred Heart and No. 12 Columbia and No. 12 Vanderbilt. On Wednesday, No. 11 Arizona and No. 11 Auburn will do battle, and No. 16 Holy Cross and No. 16 UT Martin will clash in the other two play-in contests. The winners of those four games will advance into the NCAA Tournament field of 64 teams.
Following the First Four, the field of 64 teams will get underway on Friday, March 22.
