The 2024 Paris Olympics keep on rolling on Sunday with action all throughout the day across many disciplines. The most notable will be when eyes turn to the track & field portion of the events on Day 9, but the women’s gymnastics will also be in action with Simone Biles and Suni Lee going for more hardware.
Americans Gabby Thomas, Brittany Brown and McKenzie Long will be competing in the first round of the women’s 200-meter race at 4:55 a.m. ET, while Grant Holloway, Freddie Crittenden and Daniel Roberts face off in the first round of the men’s 110-meter hurdles at 5:50 a.m. ET. Later on, Noah Lyles, Fred Kerley and Kenny Bednarek will take on the men’s 100-meter semifinals at 2:05 p.m. ET, with the final happening at 3:50 p.m. ET. Nia Akins and Juliette Whittaker will look to advance in the women’s 800-meter semifinals at 2:35 p.m. ET.
For gymnastics, Suni Lee — who clinched bronze in the women’s floor routine final — will once again be in action when she compete in the uneven bars final at 9:45 a.m. ET. And after helping the men’s gymnastics team to their first Olympic medal in 16 years, Asher Hong will look for one of his own in the men’s vault final at 10:35 a.m. ET.
Saturday’s packed podium action…
