The men completed their golf tournament, and now it’s the women’s turn to determine three medal winners at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The United States’ Nelly Korda stands as the reigning gold medalist, and she’ll have to defeat 59 other women from 33 countries if she wants to defend that hardware this week at Le Golf National.
The action will again begin early at 3 a.m. ET in each round, but the tournament has been moved up a day for the women to fit it all in before the closing ceremonies in Paris on Sunday. After big crowds for the men’s event last week, tournament organizers are doing everything they can to build on what was a wonderful Olympics experience for the players and the fans.
Instead of using the up tees on the first hole, the back tees will be used to help with the stadium-like atmosphere the men experienced during their tournament.
