2023 Women’s NCAA Tournament: National champion odds, schedule for every Sweet 16 game

Date:

After Monday brought another massive upset, the field is set for the Sweet 16 of the Women’s NCAA Tournament. Two No. 1 seeds, Stanford and Indiana, went down in the second round.

South Carolina survived the first weekend with 32- and 31-point wins, although the Gamecocks did trail after a quarter in the second round. The Gamecocks remain an overwhelming favorite to win the tournament with -250 odds on BetMGM.

UConn, a No. 2 seed in the Seattle 3 Region, is next up at +700. We’re in South Carolina vs. the field territory with these lopsided odds, especially with two No. 1 seeds already out.

While 12 of the top 16 seeds made it to the Sweet 16, the path for Iowa has opened up in the Seattle 4 Region. The No. 2 seed Hawkeyes are the only top four seed to make the Sweet 16 in that region. It seems more likely we’ll see a Caitlin Clark vs. South Carolina Final 4 game down the road.

Here’s a look at the schedule for every Sweet 16 game. Betting odds will be added when they are posted later in the week.
