The NCAA indoor track and field season may not get into full swing until the calendar turns to 2024, but there were still plenty of exciting performances that kicked off the season in December. We saw collegiate records, school records and more.

Harvard’s Graham Blanks won the DI cross country individual title and in his first race of the indoor season, he set the indoor 5000 meter record, finishing in 13:03.78 at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. Blanks broke former Arizona star Lawi Lalang’s record of 13:08.28 from 2012. Blanks’ time is the fastest across either the indoor or outdoor seasons.
